Our mission is academic, but it is greater than that. We have our students together for a large part of their lives. For that reason we cannot avoid teaching them something about how to live together. We hope to be worthy of the opportunity. In order to do those things, we need your help in many ways. We need to hear your ideas about your children and about how we can better accomplish our purposes. We also need your volunteer help at our school and your understanding and support regarding the variety of issues that may affect children's learning. We try to remember, and we ask parents to try to remember, that our respective understandings of our children are always incomplete.
